Thomas Dale High School, home of the Knights, is located in the village of Chester in southern Chesterfield County and is the oldest of the 11 high schools, originally founded in 1906. Chester is rich in history and offers plenty of historic sites such as the Henricus Historical Park which will transport you to the 17th century where battles were waged and treaties were forged between early settlers and Native Americans. Chester is full of activities and parks like R. Garland Park at Point of Rockers, where you’ll find picnic areas and athletic facilities as well as a boardwalk. Need a quick bite to eat? The intersection at West Hundred Road and Highway 301 is where you’ll find the perfect place to eat.
